Facility Overview

The Santa Madre Center is ideally located only minutes from down town Santa Cruz and even closer to the mountain town of Felton, giving the ease and convenience of accessibility while offering the feel of being far removed from the stresses of daily life.

Whether it’s taking a stroll though the Redwood forest to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a creek side meditation or working on a special project in the wood shop, the Santa Madre Center is intended to nurture the creative as well as practical needs of humanity including the need for play.

Our facilities include:

• Miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding
• Sacred space for quiet reflection

All though much of our facility is currently undergoing improvements and renovation we try to maintain a peaceful balance between enjoying what we have to offer and creating what will best serve our student’s, guests and staff.
